Morgan Riner along with other Dobyns Bennett students get ready for the Career and technical education open house on Saturday May 1, 2013 8 from 9am –1pm at Dobyns Bennett. The greenhouse will be open for the spring plant sale other departments will be showcasing their work as well. The Career and Technical Education Building, right off of Center Street, beside the tennis courts. Courses offered by DBHS will be showcased along with products made by students. Automotive Technology– free tire, running lights and wiper inspection, Broadcasting– onsite interviews and video, Cosmetology– face painting for the children and for the adults, ‘Eye makeup for you’ and professional hand massage, Criminal Justice– fingerprinting for the children and a car washCulinary Arts– gourmet homemade peanut butter dog biscuits, cakewalk at noon, and popcorn and drink sales, Engineering and Robotics Team– free throw shooting robot built by the students will be on display,Health Science– Marsh Regional Blood Center Mobile Unit/Blood Drive will be on site, Plant Sciences- host a spring plant sales, Veterinary Science– Dog washMarketing, accounting, business and computer classes plan project displays.
